 | We used to use Bovril Chicken Flavor Broth Concentrate as a convenient substitute for canned broth in recipes. Or, it was used to flavor soups, sauces, and when cooking rice or vegetables.
What happened? Bovril was made in Canada. We heard the USDA restricted all imports of products containing any beef ingredients from Canada to the US due to the Mad Cow scare. As this item contained some beef ingredient, it is no longer available in the US. |

 | Boy we used to love Postum. Delicious, but not coffee, thousands of us could not live without it!
What happened: Kraft discontinued Postum
We recommend you try our Schokinag Hot Beverage Drink instead! It isn't anything like Postum, but it is a sinfully delicious alternative. |

 | Wagner's Mulling Spices brought a cozy, exotic aroma and flavor to your favorite drink. It added just the right touch of warmth to a frosty winter's eve or the perfect spark to a sultry summer afternoon. It was perfect with tea, cider, wine, and desserts.
But the brand was discontinued after being bought out by another company, and the Wagner Mulling Spices are no longer being made.
Instead, we recommend the following:
Morton Bassett Mulling Spices
Knudsen Mulling Spices

 | Wagner Gourmet Foods' seasoned rices used to transform classic flavors into unbelievably succulent treats. You could choose from Saffron, Classic Curry, Classic Herb, French Onion, Herb & Chicken, and Long Grain & Wild Rice varieties.
What happened? Well, apparently Harry & David bought Wagner Gourmet Foods, and discontinued the brand.

 | Ah-Wu believes that the solemnity and wisdom of the great sages of China start with the foundation of a simple, clean, and balanced diet. That's why Ah-Wu's all natural sauces are created without unnecessary chemicals and additives — cuisine that respects the functions of the internal organs and allows them to carry on in their natural process of well being.
A lovely line, but we don't know why it is no longer being made.

 | Consorzio 10 Minute Marinades: flavors so intense -- 10 minutes is all it takes!
We think these items were discontinued subsequent to a change in ownership of the Consorzio brand. Sad to see it go! |

 | Consorzio Dressings were packed with great flavor. Consorzio Balsamic Dressings just happened to be naturally either low-fat or fat-free. Consorzio Dressings contained no preservatives, stabilizers, or fillers. And they were discontinued. Go figure!
