We do not include an invoice or receipt when a gift message is included -- just a packing slip.

Next Day Air refers only to the transit time of your order from our warehouse to the delivery address. Phone numbers are required for all Next Day Air packages.
Generally, for items that are in-stock, orders are processed the following business day. Orders where Next Day is requested would then arrive on the second business day. We do make every effort to ship Next Day Orders out as soon as possible.
For items that are temporarily out of stock, we will ship these items the same day the items arrive to our warehouse, and arrive to you via UPS Next Day Air. This means they will arrive to you the day following our receipt of the inventory into our warehouse. Please note that occasionally this means that you will not receive your order for up to six business days after placing your order. If you have any questions about your Next Day order, please email or telephone us.
Don't just buy one unit. Seriously! Why? Shipping on two units is almost 1/2 of one unit.
For example, one bottle of Chateau White Garlic Marinade to New York is $6.63, but for six bottles, the freight drops to only $1.88 per bottle!
We offer volume discounts on most of our items when you buy a case or more. This, in addition to saving money on shipping when you get more than one unit, means you aren't paying much for shipping.
We are happy to offer bulk discounts on very large order. Orders of 5 cases or more generally enjoy substantial discounts. Email us with your request!
You will be able to review all shipping charges before submitting your order. Simply enter in your ZIP code, State, and shipping method. Shipping charges will then be displayed.
Far Away Foods does not profit from shipping charges. Shipping charges are based on the weight of the order, the cost of packaging materials, and the shipping rates of the US Postal Service and United Parcel Service. There is no "handling" fee.
Orders are shipped from San Francisco, California via UPS Ground Service or US Postal Service Priority Mail.
We ship orders internationally. Choose Priority Mail International and the exact cost will be calculated.
We welcome shipments to our Armed Forces abroad. Use Priority Mail as your shipping choice.

There really is no such thing as 'free shipping'. Retailers who offer 'free shipping' are rolling the shipping costs into the cost of the product. Shipping by weight and distance is not only more fair, but it results in spending less on shipping than you would otherwise.
Far Away Foods accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal.
Your card is only charged once we ship your order. It is not charged when you place the order.
After you place your order, we will send you an order confirmation via e-mail. We will send you another message once your order has been shipped. If your order was shipped via UPS Ground, you will receive the tracking number of your shipment, along with an Internet address on which you can click to check the status.

In most cases, Far Away Foods will accept a return for any reason, whatsoever. We simply ask that nearly all of the product remains in the container and that the customer pay the cost of return shipping. There is no restocking fee.
Exception: Far Away Foods reserves the right to refuse returns on perishable and certain high-price items. If you are concerned about whether a particular product is eligible for return, please contact us before making your purchase.
If you would like to return some or all of your purchase, please send a message to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If your order is returned to us by UPS or USPS because the delivery was rejected, refused, the package was unclaimed or the shipping address you provided at the time of your order was incorrect, the return shipping fees charged to us by UPS or USPS, in addition to the original shipping costs, will be deducted from any refund amount. Should you decide you want us to re-ship your previously undeliverable order, we ask that you place a fresh order.
If addresses are entered incorrectly, and UPS needs to change the address in order to successfully deliver the package, they will charge us a $12.50 Address Correction Fee. If they charge that fee to us, we will regretfully need to pass that fee onto you.
All products offered by Far Away Foods are free of sales taxes. You pay only for the products purchased and any applicable shipping charges.
Far Away Foods is located on the west coast of the United States, bordering San Francisco, California. We are located near the Cow Palace at 300 Industrial Way, Brisbane, CA.
If you are in the area, or passing through, and would rather pick up your order here (and pay no shipping), simply write "Will Call" in the Comments section of your order. You can come by and pick up your order.
We don't charge shipping on "Will Call" orders. "Will Call" hours are typically M-F, 9-4, but always call ahead (415-657-0123) and let us know when you will be by.
Under no circumstances will Far Away Foods release your personal information to other companies or individuals. Our store uses Secure Sockets Layer data encryption to protect your personal and credit card information.
